Atlantic City

I recently went to Atlantic City with a bunch of friends to celebrate two of their birthdays. I live in New York City and when I got there it felt like I had been transported to a new country. For those of you who've never been it was sort of a mixture of Vegas and some remote town with small shops and run down houses. It was sort of weird to think that I was only two hours away from home but couldn't even find a Chase bank ! It was different. But there's lots of shopping (they have a Tanger Outlet) and so many hotels to party in that you can't go bored. Anyway I had lots of fun and here are some pictures. Hope everyone is well!

New favorites

Hey guys just thought I would share some of the things I recently purchased. The Prabal Gurung for Target collection recently came out and I fell in love with these neon green shoes, there simple and a great pop of color. I also purchased this great floral long sleeve top from his collection. It's so colorful and I don't own anything like it.
I was recently watching one of my favorite YouTubers and blogger, Alex from HRH Collection, and on a old 'Whats in my purse' video she had these Japanese treats. I live in a predominately Asian neighborhood so I thought I look for it on my next trip to the grocery store. I found it! And love it! I seriously can't stop eating them. It's called Cream Collon and its like a ice cream cone like treat filled with vanilla cream. So good!
On a recent trip to target I picked up these lip gloss/balm and nail polish colors. (From left to right) Loreal "smell the roses", Essie "a cut above", Loreal "new money", Loreal "walk on the beach"
The floral jeans I got on sale at Guess for only 31$!! I just love these jeans they fit perfectly and I know I'll love it for warmer weather!

Thanksgiving Fashion

I recently went shopping at H&M and I was inspired by their affordable prices and on-trend clothes.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving, im so thankful for my life and the people in in. I live in New York and the devistation of Hurricane Sandy is still evident for many families. I pray that during this time most of you guys are safe and warm. Sadly my mom will be working this Thanksgiving but never fear! Im planning on stopping by a couple of friends houses to get my eat on! Fall wish lists!

TOPS

 

This Fall season I picture myself stylish but most importantly comfortable. Flowy blouses, pastel colors, stripes, and printed tops are a few of the things I hope to add to my wardrobe this fall. Admittedly my style from summer to fall has not drastically altered but I do find myself wanting more darker jewel toned pieces. Stripes have always been a favorite of mine and can be easily transitioned into any season. Ive had peplum tops on my wish list for some time now, there a easy way to dress up a otherwise simple outfit (If it has a fun Dalmatian print like the one I have shown then that's just a BONUS!)

I'm loving anything with leather detailing right now. A denim jacket and cargo jacket are on the top of my list when paired with leather. Ive seen plenty camo jackets featured on blogs and in magazines and this is a trend that Id love to try. I know white is a usual color for fall but I think a white blazer would be a fun change to a otherwise dark color palet.

Ive had my eye on these leopard print pants from Zara for quite some time now. After seeing it in this blog I must make it mine!! Stripe, gold, camouflage, and leather pants have also made it on my list. Although I already possess a black leather pleated skirt I find this one hard to resist.

my back back to school must haves.

In about a week I'll be starting my junior year of college and I usually make  a list of certain products and items Id like to purchase before the start of the semester. This year I'm loving a variety of different trends (ie. floral pants, neon, leather, peplum, crosses) as well as beauty products. Earlier this year Maybelline came out with their Baby Lips product and I loved it so much. Since then Ive been trying out there other products. Their new BB 3-in-1 skin Perfector is definitely on my list.  In my last post I featured Revlons Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain and its a really great product so I think a nice nude color would be great for school (i think their Honey or Precious colors would be perfect)! I'm loving anything with crosses on them right now from jewelery to clothing,this site has some great jewelery featuring crosses (this being my favorite piece). Also the peplum trend is one of the most flattering trends I think for people with body issues, it helps shape the body perfectly so I'll definitely need a Peplum top for school. Both H&M and Zara feature great choices of peplum tops. I recently went shopping and purchased this Michael Kors bag in the brown for school and I think I just need a wallet to complement it :) (I'm also thinking about getting this color). While at the store I was looking at their watches and I honestly would settle for any one of them but a gold watch has been on my list for ages. What are some of the things you guys have on your list?
