I cant express how excited I am for this collection to come out Feb 5. Not only are the peices going for a much more affordable price but they look amazing! I will definetly be on like waiting for those bad boys to hit the store!!! The collection consist of cute, feminine and clean cut dresses as well as flowy blouses with bows...yes!! The prices for the peices ranges from 60$- 20$.

my birthday.

I recently celebrated my 21st birthday yesterday with a group of friends at a fabulous West Indian restuarant in the Village called Negril. Sadly I dont have that many pictures but it was an amazing night and im so blessed to have so many friends come out to help me celebrate.

P.S im currently looking for a new camera so if you have any recommendations for a good brand/model please leave them ! Pictures last night were taken from iPhones, hopefully ill have more to share once my friends send them.

Catching up.

Its been waaay too long since I've made a post and I must say that being able to have this "creative outlet" has really been missed. I cant explain why Ive been gone for so long other than some weird sort of "inspiration block"? I just couldn't think of what to post (odd I know). I use to think that the only people who could make a blog were those who could actually afford the new Celine bag or Prada sunglasses, and although its clear that those people make for a more interesting blog I now believe that anyone can look just as great no matter your budget. I recently bought a bag from H&M very similar to this Celine tote, now I have the perfect bag to bring to school.

These are some of my favorite looks that inspire me when getting dressed in the morning. Sometimes its great to have a bit of motivation to help you decide what to wear because when you feel good about yourself you function better. I usually gravitate to more simple and classic pieces but these are the five looks and rules that I've promised myself I would try to incorporate in my wardrobe.

I was looking through my closet and I think its time for more shoes, heels in particular. Here are my choices, which I plan to buy before the month is out (well maybe not the Gucci pumps). Like many women I know I find shoes and bags the most satisfying thing to shop for since it will almost always look right. You never have to worry about a shoe or bag not fitting for your body type (most times anyway).
